  11.    The news story said that the basis for Escom's slight financial 
  12. shortfall was mostly due to the combination of a soft European market
  13. for PC's in general, their involvement with the Rumbelow's chain in the
  14. UK, and a substantial difficulty in lining up parts and assemblies for 
  15. redoing the Amiga and Commodore(sic) computers for world wide distribu-
  16. tion. There was no comment from Escom quoted. There was no mention that
  17. they were shipping the A4000 at the present time, nor any specifics of
  18. any other models. 
  19.   The same story noted that Japanese and Taiwanese companies were not
  20. doing as poorly in Germany nor the rest of the EU.

  22.   There was no indication nor implication that Escom was in danger.
